Hey, just a side note about wordpress that i have remembered today…
Wordpress is the most famous platform on the planet, and bc of this, it is also the most hacked platform on earth.
So it is very important that you keep the wordpress updated and also wordpress plugins updated.
I left a wordpress without update for 3 years, and then i got hacked. Noboby told me that.. lol ..
There is a way to put wordpress to update itself, but it is more technical, so you dont have to do it manually.
To do a simple update manually (you can do it once a month).
You can update WP on Dashboard > Updates
You can update the plugins on
From the left menu, click:
Plugins > Installed Plugins
You’ll see a yellow banner under plugins that have updates:
“There is a new version of [Plugin Name] available. View version details or update now.”
Don’t forget to do both the wordpress and the plugins, if you forget for a long time there are robots on the internet that keeps testing instalations for security breachs and it will find it somehow.
Also i recommend that you backup your wordpress, because you invested time on it so it is worth it to backup if something happens you can restore to the last point. there is this plugin UpdraftPlus that you can install to make a backup. There is another one called Duplicator that can do it too.
