The Zodiac Signs & Their Body Parts

The zodiac signs represent characteristics in Astrology. However, less known interpretations include numbers, directions, and (yes!) body parts. 

Anatomical Astrology has many different names, such as Medical Astrology and Iatromathematics. However you call it, one thing remains certain. Each sign rules certain areas of the body. The planets and aspects add character. So, astrologers use this information to identify how a person will look. Or, one can predict injuries and other dis-eases.

Take into consideration all placements and important aspects before jumping to conclusions. Just because your Sun is in one Zodiac sign doesn’t make that your strongest sign. The entire chart works as a whole. Therefore, make sure to check out your chart first.

Aries 

Aries rules the Head and Face. An Aries dominant individual may have a larger head or a striking face. Since Aries is ruled by Mars, one with this placement (or similar ones) may have excess fire in this area. Therefore, one may find acne or oil native to the face.

Taurus

Taurus rules the Mouth and Throat. Those with Taurus in the Second House may have a beautiful smile or a long neck. Ruled by Venus, this adds charm. Since Taurus is Earth dominant, the person may eat or talk slowly. 

Gemini 

Gemini rules the Arms & Ears. A hot and cold sign, those with strong Gemini aspects could have two very different arms or prominent ears. Ruled by Mercury, this zodiac sign may call excess attention to their quirks one minute, but hide them the next.

Cancer

Cancer rules the Chest & Heart. Strong Cancerian placements may have emphasized breasts. They may also hold good posture. Ruled by the Moon, attention will be called to the collarbone and shoulders. The native may often look comfortable and highly enjoy movement.

Leo

Leo rules the Stomach & Spine. Leo-dominant people may have an accentuated spine or stomach. They could also have stomach pains due to excess fire. Leo aspects indicate strength. However, just the spine and stomach are not very flexible, neither is Leo.

Virgo

Virgo rules the Lower Abdomen. This includes the digestive system and spleen. Virgo creates health-conscious individuals. Separately, Virgo aspects indicate a strong gut feeling. One will be overly cautious wherever Virgo is strong in the chart.

Libra

Libra rules the Endocrine System, Skin, & Buttocks. Someone with prominent Libra placements could have glowing skin or an emphasized bum. Strong Libra placements make for a beauty-obsessed individual. So, expect this zodiac sign to wear high fashion or loads of makeup.

Scorpio

Scorpio rules the Genitals & Excretory System. Indications of strong Scorpio in the chart include emphasized genitals. As Scorpio rules the excretory system, the native may not usually stand up straight. Water ruled, the person could often sweat or have clogged pores.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius rules the Hips, Thighs & Sciatic Nerve. Those with heavy Saggitarius in their chart could have prominent hips or nice legs. Always active, they can get backaches if not following their arrow. Sciatic issues could pose a serious problem for a strong Sagittarius if they do not remain active. 

Capricorn

Capricorn rules the Knees, Bones, & Joints. Someone with strong Capricorn placements might always be cracking something. Also, Capricorn natives could have prominent teeth or knees, and have very strong bones. This zodiac sign could also look slim, bony, or plain in the area of their chart.

Aquarius

Aquarius rules the Lower Leg, Ankle, & Circulation. Aquarians might have bulbous calf muscles or prominent ankles. They could also have dainty or long legs. Since Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, a native may have a quirky or unusual feature so that they stand out from the rest.

Pisces

Pisces rules the Hands, Feet & Lymphatic System. Those with prominent Pisces placements could have beautiful hands and feet, regardless of their clumsy nature. However, a Pisces stellium can also make someone look tired. They could often look or feel dehydrated.
